Following a consistent skincare routine designed for your skin type and catered to your concerns is highly recommended for a smooth, long lasting makeup application. A prep guide will be sent prior to the booking. Skincare clinics can also be recommended if you wish to get a facial prior to, or skincare recommendations. Please be ready prior to artist's arrival with a clean, moisturized face.

We understand that not everyone has the time or budget for a preview, but we highly recommend it for clients who are unsure of their vision. A preview provides an opportunity to experiment with different looks and ensure you feel confident in your choice. We suggest booking your trial at least 1 to 2 months prior to your wedding day.

Yes! We have a team! Artists can be booked by Mylynn to help complete larger parties and maximize time.
Based on desired ready time, Mylynn may not be able to service all clients but will have trusted and skilled artists assist if needed. In the case that assistants are needed, Mylynn may fully complete the Bride’s hair and makeup services (upon request) and other guests based on requested services and best flow for timeline.
Please note that on Fridays through Sundays, as well as statutory holidays, a minimum booking of $750 for local bookings is required due to demand of the busy wedding season. For out-of-city bookings, the booking minimum is $1000. If you're interested in a smaller booking, we'd be happy to check our availability and see if we can accommodate you.
Absolutely! However, this is subject to time and availability.

Tipping is optional but always appreciated. While some companies apply a mandatory gratuity, Makeup by Mylynn leaves this to the client's discretion. A tip of 15-20% is customary and can be given in cash directly to your artist(s).

All products are sanitized with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol before, during and after appointments. Brushes are cleaned with Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner or Sephora Collection's Daily Brush Cleaner and deep cleaned with Beauty Blender's Liquid Blendercleanser.

Makeup application is fully customized from start to finish to skin type and concerns. The average makeup lasts up to 8-10 hours (may vary based on skin types) with minimal to no shine. Only a lip product and blotting paper is needed to touch up with, which will be provided to the client in the provided touch up bag. other products may be suggested to add on for bridal makeup during consultation. A preview can be booked for a day leading up to the event day to test the wear at an additional cost.
All products are high end, photo friendly, comfortable and long wearing. We have sourced out the very best products for our kit over the years. However, if you have your own kit you would like to use due to allergies and sensitivities, we are happy to use them in place of ours but can not guarantee the same wear. We may deny service if you have major allergies. Please contact regarding specific allergies or to book a patch test. Airbrush makeup is not offered at this time.
